Press Conference: DC is Serious about Jobs
Kwame to unveil new legislation to create jobs and sustainable growth
WASHINGTON – Tomorrow, join At-Large Councilmember Kwame R. Brown as he unveils new jobs legislation designed to create jobs and ensure sustainable growth. The District is suffering from 12.1% unemployment, the highest in its recorded history. Councilmember Brown will call for the declaration of an unemployment crisis and will announce a major step to put residents back to work.
