The Zonta Club of Washington, D.C., is pleased to announce funding for its 2010-2011 scholarships. Applicants for these scholarships should be women pursuing undergraduate degrees at accredited District of Columbia colleges and universities who demonstrate competency in handling academic studies along with an interest in serving the community. We are particularly interested in non-traditional women students who have returned to college to complete their undergraduate degrees. The scholarships typically range between $5000 and $8000.
Minimum applicant qualifications include: *Female *Enrollment in a accredited District of Columbia college or university toward an undergraduate degree.
Scholarship applications must be postmarked no later than May 30, 2010, to be accepted for consideration. Unless the student is considered for funding, we may not contact the student after receipt of the application.
