Position: Operational Phase Services - Sr. Rep (Electrical)
Washington DC Metro Area

GHT Limited, a leading DC Metro area M/E/P engineering consulting firm in Arlington , VA , seeks an Operational Phase Services - Senior Representative candidate. The candidate will be a member of the team that provides design phase through construction and post-construction services. These services focus on mechanical, electrical and plumbing support systems.

Knowledge and Experience required:

The ideal SR OPS representative will have a minimum of 10 years experience in commercial construction, and must have a broad knowledge of MEP systems operation, installation, and design.

In addition, this candidate would posses the following skills, traits, and credentials;

• Registered Professional Engineer preferred, Engineering degree (BSME, BSEE, or AE). Non-degreed personnel who have work experience documenting an equivalent knowledge level will also be considered.

• Building commissioning experience in a leadership role.

• Multi-discipline (MEP) knowledge equivalent to a mid-level designer in each discipline.

• Strong troubleshooting skills (include a “product” as an example).

• EMS / BMS / ATC knowledge level sufficient to successfully troubleshoot and recommend corrective actions.

• Membership in BCA or other recognized commissioning associations.

• Self-management. This is to include managing projects, scheduling events, plan development, report writing, leading meetings, and jobsite activities be they troubleshooting, an investigation, or commissioning.

• Good communication and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel, are required.

• Willing to travel occasionally.
